Services in Flushing

Discover personalized excellence with our comprehensive services. From prenatal counseling to wellness visits, trust us for all your pediatric care needs.

  • A prenatal visit with the pediatrician is recommended for all expectant families. It is especially valuable for first pregnancies, families with high-risk pregnancies, pregnancy complications, or multiple gestation; and for parents who previously have experienced a perinatal death. As an advocate for children and their families, we can support and guide expectant parents and their family in the prenatal period.

  • When you have a baby at our affiliated hospitals (see below), you can call us by yourself or through the hospital staff. We will visit and exam your baby at hospital and counsel you and your family.

  • You may have a lot of questions about baby's sleeping habits, baby care and feeding, health, development, and safety. We can help you solve breastfeeding and sleeping problems, start solid foods, handle crying, know what your baby is ready for, identify baby illnesses, track your baby's development, and more.

  • We are treating a wide variety of acute illnesses and also taking care of chronic illnesses such as asthma and other allergic disorders. If necessary, we admit patients to our affiliated hospital.

  • Vaccination is the administration of antigenic material (a vaccine) to stimulate an individual's immune system. Vaccines can prevent or ameliorate illness from infection. The effectiveness of vaccination has been widely studied and verified. We are performing vaccination according to the recommendation of CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention).

  • Tuberculosis (TB) infections are no longer common in the US. However, an active TB infection can be a very serious illness. Children should get tested for TB if they have been in close contact with someone known or suspected to have TB or have traveled to a country where TB is common or have been exposed to TB and have a chronic health problem, such as cancer, diabetes, kidney failure, malnutrition, or certain types of immune system or have HIV. A small amount of fluid (PPD) is injected into the top layer of your child's skin with needle. It is like getting a shot. Your child need to come back to the office in 2 to 3 days to check the area that was injected.

  • A child’s growth is more than just physical. Children grow, develop, and learn throughout their lives, starting at birth. Skills such as taking a first step, smiling for the first time, and waving “bye bye” are called developmental milestones. Children reach milestones in playing, learning, speaking, behaving, and moving (crawling, walking, etc.). A developmental delay is when your child does not reach these milestones at the same time as other children the same age. Most of the time, a developmental problem is not something your child will “grow out of” on his or her own. But with help, your child could reach his or her full potential! We check your kid's dvelopmetal milestones and if necessary, refer your kid to a qualified specialist.

  • Autism is a developmental disability that can cause significant social, communication and behavioral challenges. It is essential to identify child with autism as early as possible and start early intervention to improve child’s development. We are providing a screening test for kids aged 16-30 month, which is quick (it takes less than 10 minutes) and easy. If necessary, we refer your kid to a qualified specialist.

  • Scoliosis is a sideways curvature of the spine that occurs most often during the growth spurt just before puberty. It is suspected when your child has uneven shoulder or waist; one shoulder blade that appears more prominent than the other; abnormal gait. Children who have mild scoliosis should be monitored closely, usually with X-rays, to see if the curve is getting worse.
